18" x 24" Graphite Pastel on Paper.

My late mother and I both had intense dreams and she often told me about them when she had just woke up.  This is about waking up in the afternoon, particularly in Los Angeles, where I woke up everyday to sun.  It's the point when I would see the window and still halfway be recalling my dream.  The graphite is the remnants of the dream.  The shapes are the reorienting from the dream to the actual space.
